FB-17

FB-17 is a blanket-type fire barrier designed for 5” to 20+” nominal floor and wall expansion joints. FB-17 has been tested and proven to provide up to a 3-hour fire endurance rating for floor joints and up to a 2-hour rating for wall joints, minimizing smoke passage. Available in 10’ lengths and engineered for simple splicing. An option for lateral shear movement is available; check third-party listings. For the wall fire barrier system to perform correctly regarding fire rating and movement capability, you must provide adequate wall construction depth for installation.
